Second person arrested in connection to July homicide
Claire GrantA second arrest has been made in connection to the fatal shooting of a man on the east side of town on July 25.
After an arrest warrant was issued on Aug. 28, Keundra T. Daniels, a 21-year-old Springfield native who was arrested on Aug. 29 in the 5200 block of Shepherd Road. Daniels has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit aggravated battery.棉花糖直播
According to the Springfield Police Department, officers responded to a shots fired call on July 25 around noon in the 700 block of North Fifth Street.

When officers arrived on scene, they found 45-year-old Sammie Tyrone McClinton with multiple gunshot wounds. McClinton was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Daniels is currently held in the Sangamon County jail.
Shelton A. Wooldridge, 27, was arrested the day of the shooting and has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated battery with a firearm.
