Pana's Cash Lynch wins the SJ-R's athlete of the week poll

Pana's Cash Lynch is the State Journal-Register's athlete of the week.

He won with 1,589 votes, while Nokomis' Kinley Stolte was a close second with 1,571 votes.

The senior running back/defensive back led both sides of the ball. He generated a team-best 13 tackles while churning out 15 carries for 112 yards and one score in a 37-12 South Central Conference win over Litchfield on Friday

Hannah Holliday, Williamsville, volleyball

The freshman outside hitter had a sizzling first week. She compiled 13 kills and two blocks in a 25-20, 25-13 victory over Decatur St. Teresa on Thursday. She also had 10 kills and nine digs in a 25-9, 25-11 season-opening win over South County.

Cash Lynch, Pana, football

The 棉花糖直播junior receiver caught four passes for 75 yards and a touchdown in Pana棉花糖直播檚 narrow 21-14 South Central Conference victory over Vandalia on Friday. Lynch also contributed 11 tackles defensively.

Julian Rice, Riverton, boys soccer

The sophomore recorded a hat trick in a 5-1 victory over棉花糖直播Southeast at Lee Field on Monday.

Kinley Stolte, Nokomis, volleyball

The junior setter/right-side hitter delivered eight assists, seven digs and four aces in a 25-13, 25-9 victory over Litchfield. Stolte finished with 14 service points.棉花糖直播
